We had our own little secluded beach that you can see in the background. We spent 1 entire day out there and two other little trips. Emmy didn't like the sand (like her Daddy) and was scared of the waves.

This is on the ferry ride out to the beach.

Momma had some spa time (yeah!) and Emmy and Daddy hung out at the pool (and yes, the pool swim-up bar).

Family photo. These were few and far between. Luckily we found a willing man to take this picture.
OK, Momma, I am not smiling for another picture. Let's get going!
Nap time. This was her second nap on this day. She did great napping in her tent and on the beach chairs.
Daddy went fishing and caught this sail fish. Since it isn't "good eatin'" the fisherman were going to donate his fish to poor people who will eat it. The other fish is a dolphin fish, or mahi-mahi, caught by Ross (a fellow fisherman). He iced it up and took it home with him.

Happy pool baby!

Cute baby!

More happy pool baby!

Still happy!

I know she doesn't look happy here, but look at how the light is catching her eyes!

Happy pool baby! Yes, she is in a sweater. Once the sun started going down, it cooled down, plus this was a good cover up!

Cute baby.

Momma and Emmy by poinsetta christmas tree.

We obviously won't be using this picture for a Christmas card because of the glare, but like I said, the family photo ops were few.

First morning in Mazatlan. She was so happy!

I am jealous, but I guess you got a trip for Christmas and I got a car!! Yea!
What a fun trip! You are such a good Mama (and Daddy), too, to travel with Emmy to the beach...very brave! I'm not at all surprised :) Am I jealous a bit?
