I know that some of you want details and stories, so I will give you a few with each posting...until you are caught up.
On Wednesday, February 6th, James and I went to the Dr. for the last Drs. visit. I was 2 cm dilated and 70% effaced. The Dr. warned me that she did not think that I would make it a week later. Emmy decided that she wanted to be on time! At 11:09 pm on Wednesday, I knew I was having contractions. I made it an hour later before I woke up James. We were in bed about 1/2 hour, before James decided we really needed to get "moving." We worked on getting our bags into the car and collecting our last minute pieces of entertainment. By 1:30 am on 2-7-08 we were on our way to the Central Texas Medical Center.

Thanks for the info! You are a trooper to be doing this right now :) She is just beautiful. Thanks for sharing the photos...and I'm SO glad to hear that you went into labor on your own!! Yay, Emmy Lu!!
I will keep posting also. We love to see pictures of her. And yes we want to hear more. Take care and get some rest too! Call me when you have time and enjoy every minute. They change so quickly.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! We've been checking the blog regularly, waiting for the big news! She is gorgeous and we hope to meet her in person one day. Keep the pictures coming!
