Shelley and Emmy are famous

Shelley and Emmy had a photo session when Em was about 3 months old. They were a great pair.  Read the email below from Shelley.  I have no idea how long the site will last, but I hope you get to go look at it.  If you double click on the picture of Emmy (on the We can do it! Flickr site), you can read all the comments.

On my Flickr, I have a setting checked to email me when ever anyone adds me as a contact, writes a comment, etc on any of my pictures.  Well, a little while ago I suddendly got flooded with all these emails from Flickr from people adding me as a contact and writting messages on one of my photos.  I couldn't figure out what was going on and if someone had posted one of my pictures on a blog or what.  I logged in and I found out that the picture was one I had taken of Emmy and is currently front page on the Flickr blog!

Anyways, it's pretty cool if you ask me!  One day when Emmy gets older, I'll have thank her for making me famous for a day.  hehe

Btw- check out the comments if you get a chance.  Everyone thinks Emmy is very cute and adorable!  :)

Last Few Weeks

Here are some pictures from the last few weeks...some are a little out of order so I will explain.

Leaving Chicago...waiting patiently at airport due to mechanical difficulty.

Look Ma, they gave me my own seat!

Returning from MD/PA...Emmy is helping me find my luggage!

Emmy in Ocean City. She is filling her tent with sand (after refusing to walk on it!).

OK, sand isn't so bad. I like my sand bucket! If you notice in the background, there was a lot of fog that morning (we went to the beach at 9 am!).

Emmy in Allentown, PA, before going to Auntie Courtney's for the weekend. Isn't she sweet!

At home, she likes to clean - I know its crazy! She loves to pull out the broom and wipe down furniture and items with napkins and cloths.

Eating breakfast in PA.

Daddy picked us up from the airport following the MD/PA trip. She was so happy to be in Daddy's truck.

Emmy LOVES the dogs! They provide so much entertainment - minus the dog hair they make my life so much easier. Emmy likes to help feed them...this morning she was really spoiling Daisy and walking bits of food over to her.
Going to the O'hare airport, sitting in the back seat with Cousin Katie & happy!

At the condo in MD.
Playing in the sand!
Happy Birthday, Papa! On the way to the party.
Still on the way to the party...what party?

So sweet.
Let's go swim!

My future's so bright...

Beach Pictures!

We were lucky enough to have a little beach vacay in Ocean City, MD, prior to a meeting I had in PA.  My friend, Linda, let us stay at their cozy and cute condo that had beach access.  It was a nice get-away for before school starts (only 2 weeks - ahhh).

Emmy is ready for the beach...swim suit and sunscreen on!

Eating a cookie at the condo. Yum.

We went out to the pier each night to enjoy the sunset (and moon rise) and to watch all the crabbers.

Emmy is intently reading her "White Marlin Open" program.  We were there for the tournament...one day someone caught a 1,000+ lb blue marlin.

Emmy and Momma at dinner...and you can tell she was restless!

Puttin' her feet up waiting for the big fish to be reeled in.  This is at the marina where the competitive fishermen (or women) come in with the big catch!

Enjoying the agua with Dada.

Crabbing with Dada was so much fun, especially when the waves brought in new crabs and shells.

They (crabs) are so funny when they swim.

Dada wasn't happy with this shot and she will hate me when she is 18, but so cute.  She is waving at James (you can see him above her left hand).

Time for a little snack.
So cute in my hat.
HI!
Uh-oh, the crab monster might get me.

Yes, you can see her sunburn in these pics.  I tried, hence the skunk nose strip, but somehow I missed a few spots.

Ok, this sand stuff and lots of agua can be fun.

Enjoying my little beach tent, Momma tried to keep me in the shade (minus the one skunk day, the sunscreen was well applied and worked!).
