Patio Day

It was so nice yesterday after the rain that we sat on the patio all evening. James grilled our dinner and Emmy and I enjoyed ourselves.

Summer Pictures

So, I know I haven't been the best blogger...and I have missed out on many pictures of our little princess - but I think she will be OK! Here are some of the phone pictures I have taken over the summer. I will try to give a little synopsis - if I remember.

We found Daddy's old tricycle in the garage. It was so much fun to play with!


I like to brush my teeth and will come back for more "paste" when I think I need it.

This stool is one of my favorite places to sit and climb at Memaw and Boppa's house. This pic is interesting because the reflection makes the house look like it has been extended.

I love the agua at the lake house. Momma says the dock is a scary place, but I like walking on it.

Carcar (Carter) is my favorite person. We left on Sunday and Monday after school she was talking about Carcar. They were playing and I couldn't get a "still" photo.

Millie and Emmy Lu (& Sheridan, too)

Emmy was so lucky to be able to play with her friends while we were "up north" for Becky's wedding.  Unfortunately, I did not have my camera to capture her fun times eating lunch with Austin.  Tara, Millie and Sheridan met Emmy and I at Grapevine Mills Mall for a cup of coffee, shopping & lunch. Tara had her camera.

Emmy in June and Early July

We are getting back to normal, a little bit at a time.  Here is a little catch up on Emmy...she has never gone so long without having pictures taken!

Emmy loves her dogs!  Here she is hugging Disney and Daisy.  This is an everyday (if not every hour) occurance.  Luckily, they are very calm with her.

Aunt Judy, Alison, Courtney, Emmy and I did at-home (hotel) pedicures before the funeral.  Emmy is hooked & her toes were painted pink for the first time.

Our poor yard is burnt out after being away for so long & with the 100 degree heat.  Emmy was able to play in the sprinkler while I tried to bring the lawn back to life (although it is limited with our watering bans).
