I was just looking at Miss Hannah's blog site and found this picture of little baby Emmy. She went to Hannah's first birthday party last August. Emmy was barely standing up and now she is walking all over the place. What cuties!

Emmy had fun preparing for her Spring party last night. We opened the eggs to put in the basket, then we had to open all of the "duck bubbles" and put them in the basket too. Happy girl.





Then...this morning she did not want to wake up, even to go to the school party!

Happy Belated Birthday

Happy First Birthday, Emmy...a little late!  This picture really was taken on her birthday, it just took me forever to post it!  I have another one, but can't seem to locate it to scan in.

Emmy was so cute the other night.  I told her it was time for bed & she laid down on the couch.  This was Sunday.  Tonight, she did not want to go to bed.  Step one - put her in bed & she screamed and cried enough for me to go get her.  Step two - lay with her on couch (I had to make a test for my 8 am class), she seems to fall asleep, put in bed.  More screams and cries.  Step three - back to couch, where she points out that the front porch light was on so I had to get up and turn the light out for her.  Several minutes later she is asleep.  I wait a while longer to assure she is asleep before I put her in bed.  Cried out for 20 seconds and she was out!
