Press Conference

We had the press conference for our sexuality education report yesterday.  I can't believe how exhausting it has been.  Emmy got sick and was out of school, but she ended up being a great asset to the press conference.  The entire press conference is now posted on youtube.  If you search TX Freedom Network, you will see 5 different segments for the release, and 3 spoof videos that were made to accompany the report/press conference.

A Couple of New Pics

Here are a couple of new pictures so you can see Emmy's beautiful face.  I still have to send pictures from her birthday...but you have to settle for this right now!

I love being in the kitchen when Momma and Daddy are cooking.

I will play on my rocking horse.  I can't get on it by myself, but I can slide off.  It is my favorite toy to "walk around."

Her 12 month appointment "stats" show that she is a perfectly healthy growing girl.

29 inches long - 44%

20 lbs 5 oz - 35%

head circumfrence - 68%

She still likes her milk in the sippy cup, but we are struggling a little with bedtime and relaxing.  I think that will come with time.  She is enjoying her table food!  The otherday I made her an "enchilada" (tortilla with green pepper and cheese) and she loved it!

Way Behind

OK, I am way behind and have so many things to post.

Emmy had a great 1st birthday!! She enjoyed her cake and had a hi-larious sugar high!

What is Emmy up to:
Talking: Momma, Daddy, Dog, Daisy, Disney and book (ook) are her words
Eating: We have converted to table food! We are just trying to avoid foods with high sugar and salt content (a problem for momma [sugar] and daddy [salt])
Drinking: We've switched to sippy cups and whole milk
Walking: Really, really trying

And she is just cute as can be. I know, I know, you want pictures. I will post some soon!
